Rock On Wit Yo Bad Self Music!

While on Saturday’s epic hike, I reflected about how I don’t always give my body enough props for guiding me through physical challenges.

I realized that music plays a big role in amp’ing me up for physical challenges, so wanted to share some of my favorite confidence boosting songs!

How do you amp yourself up for physical challenges?

What are your favorite songs to kick start your self confidence?

1) “Wanna Fly” by Vassy

2) “Little Bit Of Feel Good” by Jamie Lidell

3) “On To The Next One” by Jay Z featuring Swizz Beatz

4) “Kiss You Off” by Scissor Sisters

5) “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” by Tears For Fears

6) “Hate On Me” by Jill Scott

  2. Lately I have been re-living my college days–musically anyway, I don’t think I could survive the other stuff. Today for example I have been listening to Soundgarden, who I fondly recall seeing in concert in 1993. Once in awhile I throw in some Damien Rice or Paul Oakenfold for something different.

  3. Love this list! I need hip hop, rap and dancehall to keep me shakin’ it. My favorite at the moment is the Major Lazer and La Roux collab/mashup Lazerproof–”Independent Kill” just does not get old!
